Our takeWhat this place actually is

King cherry blossoms (*겹벚꽃*, 'double cherry') are the cheat code of Korean spring. While everyone chases the regular bloom in early April, the double-petal variety opens roughly a week later — April 10–18 most years — and lasts longer. They're denser, pinker, and they hold the color when the regular blossoms have already dropped.

The spots that grow them are fewer: Changdeokgung Palace's back garden, some temple grounds, a few named streets in Yeouido. We've built this tour around the locations that peak right as the regular bloom ends — so if you land after the main window, this is still the tour that gets you the shot.

Pro note: these are the pink puffy ones that most "cherry blossom in Korea" search results actually show, not the white-pink ones from the regular Somei-Yoshino variety. Different trees, different week.

About this tourThe tour itself

Chase Korea's rarest and most luxurious cherry blossoms — the "king" variety, also known as double-flowered or yamazakura blossoms. These full, layered pink flowers bloom later than standard cherry trees (late April), allowing you to experience spring's fullest expression. This expertly timed tour visits Boramae Park with its stunning display, the shopping and leisure experience of Starfield Hanam, and the serene beauty of Misari Speedboat Park where blossoms arch over calm water. Escape the crowded peak-bloom chaos of early April and discover the refined, abundant beauty of late spring.
