Family guide

Which tours work for families, and which don't.

Not every tour is built for a 7-year-old. Here's the straight answer on what works when you're traveling with kids, from toddlers to teens.

Best for kids (tested, approved)

Everland has the rides, Legoland has the playgrounds, Alpaca World lets kids feed actual alpacas. Nami Island is a park — bike rentals on-site, safe to wander. The shuttle-bus-only Nami option is best for flexibility if nap times matter.

Great for teens, tiring for toddlers

Two-stop combos run 8–10 hours, which is a lot with small kids. Teens love the K-drama filming-location stops at Petite France; mountain hiking at Mt. Seorak needs steady legs.

Skip with kids under 10

BTS fan tours are long and sit-heavy. DMZ is educational but grim. The Dark Tours cover colonial-era torture sites and political imprisonment — appropriate for middle-schoolers and up, not younger.
