Our takeWhat this place actually is

The BTS Army Fan Tour isn't a concert tour — it's a pilgrimage. We visit the places the members wrote songs about, where album covers were shot, where the early mixtapes came together. The Yongin Daejanggeum Park set (from the *Blood Sweat & Tears* MV), the stairs from *Spring Day*, Nodeul Island where *Answer: Love Myself* was filmed. Big Hit (now HYBE) built Fan Messages walls that nobody outside the fandom even knows exist.

You'll meet Army from every continent on this tour. There are rules — no loud crying at the Bighit HQ plaza (they have neighbors), no climbing the *Dynamite* rooftop (that's not the real one anyway). A bilingual host because half the questions are about Korean song lyric nuance.

Worth saying: this tour works whether the boys are in Korea or not. The sites don't care.

About this tourThe tour itself

Walk in the footsteps of your K-pop heroes with the BTS Army Fan One Day Tour, an exclusive pilgrimage to iconic BTS locations across Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Visit Yongin Daejanggeum Park—SUGA's paradise where he found inspiration—then explore Hakdong Park, Yoojung Sikdang (the legendary imo aunt's restaurant), and the historic Big Hit Entertainment building where BTS's journey began. See the Hyuga Café, the BTS members' favorite hangout and old dorm location, and the magnificent HYBE building, the state-of-the-art headquarters of BTS's label. This is more than sightseeing; it's a spiritual journey connecting you directly to BTS's Seoul story, the streets they walked, the spaces where creative magic happened.

Do it yourself

If you'd rather skip the tour and DIY, here's what you need to know. Honest version.

Transport
Yongin Daejanggeum Park requires a car/tour — no good public transit. Nodeul Island: Line 9 Noryangjin Station. HYBE HQ: Yongsan Station.
Entry / cost
Most sites free. Yongin Park ₩16,000. BTS 'Permission to Dance' Pop-up (if running): ₩15,000, book ahead.
Hours
HYBE HQ exterior only — don't knock on the door. Public plaza is open anytime.
Skip these
The 'Bangtan Bomb'-branded cafés near HYBE — every café in the neighborhood puts BTS merch up but most have nothing to do with the band.
Alternative
If DIY, the Big Hit/HYBE HQ + Nodeul Island + Cheongdam-dong plaza loop is doable by metro in an afternoon. Yongin Daejanggeum needs a taxi.
What's coming · 2026

Events, festivals, things to watch for

  • June 2026: Expected BTS post-military reunion event window. Busan, Seoul, or Incheon — not confirmed yet.
  • HYBE Insight Museum: Currently closed for renovation, reopens summer 2026.
  • Nodeul Island is hosting an Army-designed art installation through October.

Beyond this tour

Things near here we think are worth it. Not all our bookings.

  • CUBE Entertainment area (Sinsa-dong): If you're a K-pop fan broadly, 15 min from HYBE. Home to Pentagon, (G)I-DLE.
  • SM Entertainment Coex Town (in Gangnam): Hall tour with AR features. Separate agency, different groups.
  • Blue Dream Café (Sangsu): Regular café but Army-friendly; wall covered in fan messages.
  • BT21 Flagship Store (Hongdae): Official BTS-character merch. If a member drops by, it's here first.

Korea in 2026 — what's coming up

The calendar everyone planning Korea should know about. Useful whether you're on our tour or not.

May 2026
  • Children's Day (May 5) — theme parks absolutely packed; skip Everland/Legoland that week.
